Role Description

The Sales Director is involved in every aspect of the sales process and is responsible for generating revenue from two channels, 1) owned/named accounts and 2) net new accounts. The Sales Director is responsible for maintaining, nurturing and building relationships with clients and is expected to meet set revenue targets within respective accounts. Additionally, the Sales Director is expected to prospect, network and break into net new accounts generating revenue from new business channels while also acting as a brand ambassador for the company. Accountable to execute sales/client facing initiatives as needed in order to achieve quota goals laid out by sales management for that year.

  • Professional experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Salesforce
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Develop sales strategies, conduct cold calls, and make sales presentations

Key Performance Indicators and Metrics

  • Meet quarterly and annual quota goals
  • Weekly reports to manager about sales activity

Specific Deliverables for the Role

  • Required to utilize company CRM (Salesforce) to enter, track and report all sales activity
  • Communication is maintained between the Sales Team and CXO Leadership
  • Client satisfaction goals are met or exceeded
  • Sales Team workflow efficiency expectations are met or exceeded
  • Review, confirm and identify rate anomalies when creating and presenting quotes and provide resolution options
  • Collaborate closely with global Sales Coordinators and Business Development team members as needed
  • Submit quotes to clients, at times creating quotes will be required
  • Support tasks required by the Business Development Team and CRO.
